Advisory Committees

Each year, Representative Anna Moeller convenes eight policy advisory committees on topics important to Illinoisans. These committees seek the voices and input of our community members, and we want to hear from you, too. Education

This committee seeks the expertise of educators, paraprofessionals, and administrators from around the district, representing colleges and K-12, to discuss the issues impacting education in Illinois.

Youth

Representative Moeller is seeking the voices of those aged 15-25 to talk about the issues most important to young people in Illinois.

Veterans

Representative Moeller is seeking the voices of veterans in our community to have conversations about the way Illinois and our communities can better serve and support veterans.

Social Services

This committee seeks to gather representatives from social service agencies in the area to discuss how to support them in their efforts to provide housing, medical assistance, and more to members of our community.

Business & Economics

This committee convenes local entrepreneurs, business leaders and non-profit organizations to discuss ways Illinois can support local businesses and our state’s economic vitality.

Seniors

This committee seeks the wisdom of local service agencies and senior centers as well as the voices of senior citizens in our communities to discuss how to better serve and support people as they age.

Public Safety

This committee seeks the expertise of first responders and public safety officials to discuss ways to protect the general public and meet their health and safety needs.

Environment

This committee seeks the voices of environmental activists and community members working to improve and sustain our local ecosystems and natural resources to discuss the issues impacting Illinois’ wildlife and environment.
