Spring 2023 Newsletter:

Happy April! As the weather warms up, so is our session in Springfield. March 24th was the deadline to pass bills out of the House. Many of the bills which came before the House during these past few weeks are now on to the Senate, including seven bills where I am the chief sponsor. In the newsletter below, I highlight three of my bills which passed out of our chamber and are now headed to the Senate.
The events coming out of my office are also warming up! I am excited to bring these programs to you, including some new events like our Financial Literacy Seminar for youth and a Property Tax Exemption Seminar with the Cook County Assessor’s office.
On Saturday, March 18th, to help students prepare for their financial future, our office hosted a Student Financial Aid and Financial Literacy Seminar in partnership with BMO Bank and the Illinois Student Assistance Commission. We were able to help families fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and help them set their student on a path toward a stable financial future.
On March 25th, my office joined with the Cook County Assessor’s Office and Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison’s office to host a Property Tax seminar. This seminar was a great chance to for people to learn how to apply for property tax savings and learn more about the Assessor’s office. We had a great turnout of the event and we look forward to hosting similar programs in the future.
My office has several events coming up during the months of April and May, including a Medicaid enrollment event and a townhall with Congresswoman Delia Ramirez. You will find more information about them in the “Events” section of this newsletter. We look forward to seeing you there!

If you ever have any questions, concerns or requests for assistance, please do not hesitate to contact my office at staterepmoeller@gmail.com or 847-841-7130. It is an honor to represent you in Springfield and my staff and I look forward to serving you.

Warmest Regards,
